Court Booking
RACQUET COURT RESERVATION POLIcies
- Court reservation is defined as your name appearing on the reservation either as the person booking or as the opponent(s).
- Player names listed in Court Reserve reservations must accurately reflect/include all players present and playing on the Court.
- Phone-in court bookings will NOT be accepted
- Members may “early cancel” a court reservation (3) hours prior to the booking. Court reservations canceled less than (3) hours prior to the booking are considered a “late cancel”, which may result in penalties to your account and any court fees paid being forfeited.
- Court Reserve profile is subject to be deleted if first/last name does not match your Mindbody profile. If this occurs, please re-create a Court Reserve profile with correct first/last name
- Fitness members or Squash/Tennis members with 0 booking available, may reserve a Squash or Tennis court for a fee up to 3 days in advance using CourtReserve.
COURT ACCESS BY MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY
Squash Members
- Included with membership are:
- (3) “45 min future singles squash court reservations” per week (Monday-Sunday).
- (2) “60 min future doubles squash court reservations” per week (Monday and Sunday).
- May reserve Squash courts 7-days in advance, beginning at 8am each day.
- May reserve additional court time for a fee using CourtReserve.
- May reserve a Tennis court for a fee up to 3-days in advance using CourtReserve.
Tennis Members
- Included with membership are:
- All squash privileges listed under “Squash Members” above.
- (3) “tennis court reservations per week (Monday-Sunday).
- May reserve Tennis or Squash courts 7-days in advance, beginning at 8am each day.
- May reserve additional court time for a fee using CourtReserve.
- “Junior Tennis Members” will continue to have (2) court play rules and are NOT allowed to book/play during restricted hours as follows:
- Weekdays 7pm until close
- Saturday/Sunday/Holidays from open until 2pm
RACQUET SPORT PROGRAM ENROLLMENTS & pAYMENTS
A reminder to all members that private lessons, leagues, clinics, programs and events must be enrolled in and paid for through your Edgemont Athletic (EA) app, desktop (see links below) or at the front reception desk prior to service. All Racquet instructional programs, clinics, leagues and event programs are non-refundable, are forfeited if unused within the program dates and are non-transferable.
gUEST pOLICIES
- Guest information (full name & contact info) must be entered into Court Reserve booking made by the member.
- Guest Fee Payment is taken at the front reception when a guest arrives and the member accompanying them should be present during the check-in and guest registration process. The guest fee is $20 plus GST and provides access to EA for the day, including use of the pool, locker room facilities, boutique class attendance (if space is available) and the fitness floor.
- Racquet court fees are paid separately to the guest fee at the rates detailed in CourtReserve at the time of booking. For more information on this please refer to “How to Use CourtReserve” section
- Guests must show a government issued ID, be at least 18 years old, have their photo taken and register at the front desk.
- No show guests are subject to the penalties below.
POLICY VIOLATIONS & PENALTIES
Members found to be in violation of any “Court Bookings Policy & Procedures” outlined in this document may be subject to a restriction or suspension of their weekly booking privileges at management’s discretion.
This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Failure to list all players on the CR booking accurately or using someone’s name when they are not present (substituting players are NOT permitted) may result in suspension of court booking privileges.
- No shows, late cancellations and guest no shows may be subject to fees being charged and/or penalties and reduction of booking privileges.
- Guest fees are nonrefundable and non-transferrable.
- Appropriate Tennis/Squash attire is required for use on the racquet courts, including but not limited to non marking shoes.
POLICY AMENDMENTS
Effective Oct 1, 2024: New Racquet Court Reservation Policies.
