YOGA FOR GOLFERS

This yoga for golfers program uses the methodology of yoga to enhance Golf performance, with a focus for each session on core and posture, balance and stability, rotation, dynamic warm-ups, on-course stretches and home recovery postures.
In this 4-week series students will learn about the biomechanics of the golf swing and the key body parts that need to move optimally in a golf swing.
Each one-hour session will prepare you for the upcoming golf season by:
1. Increasing your flexibility.
2. Improving your posture.
3. Improving the foundation of the golf swing.
4. Learning a dynamic warm up so you can play your best right from the first tee.
Go into this Golf season feeling your best so you can play better, and with more confidence and enjoyment.
Bring your yoga mat, a water bottle and a Golf club.

TRIVIA NIGHT

Put on your thinking cap and make your way to Selia on Tuesday April 14th at 7pm for an Easter-themed Trivia Night.
Hosted by our hospitality manager Jozie, the night promises to have head-scratching questions, jaw-dropping prizes, and gluten-free food and drink from your favourite restaurant in town, Selia.
FUNCTIONAL THRESHOLD TEST CLASS
Date: April 18th
Time: 1:30pm -2:30 pm
Investment: Free for Gold Members

We will be offering members the opportunity to participate in a 1-hour class to assess their Functional Threshold Power (FTP). This test measures the maximum power a cyclist can sustain for roughly one hour (usually derived from a 20-minute test), serving as a vital benchmark to establish personalized training zones, track fitness progress, and optimize workout intensity for improved endurance and performance.
We will be using the FTP Test protocol within each TechnoGym bike and you will need to sign into the TechnoGym app prior to the test so to record your results.

RACQUET SPORTS WORKSHOP
This workshop will combine the basics of Pilates with a 60-minute Pilates class that will get your heart pumping.
Learn how to do moves correctly, key integration on muscle group use and techniques to help increase the power of stabilization muscles making you able to level up in your sport of choice and prevent and/or recover from injury faster
